Natalie Price joined Lawrence Beach Allen & Choi PC as an associate in the Orange County office in 2013. Ms. Price began her career in complex civil litigation defense, defending Fortune 500 companies. Despite unfavorable contractual provisions and California law, Ms. Price routinely negotiated excellent settlements for her clients.

Since joining LBAC, Ms. Price has litigated a wide range of cases for public entities and their employees, such as officer-involved shootings, civil rights, employment, dangerous conditions of public property, wrongful death, personal injury, and general government tort liability matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Ms. Price has second-chaired trials, including a USERRA employment trial which resulted in a defense verdict and a fatal officer-involved shooting trial wherein the involved deputy avoiding an award of punitive damages against him. Additionally, Ms. Price has assisted in trial preparation in numerous cases which settled shortly before trial.

Ms. Price handles cases from pre-litigation through appeal, and has successfully drafted and argued demurrers, motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, discovery motions, Daubert motions, motions in limine, and jury instructions. Ms. Price advises clients regarding potential exposure, complex and novel legal issues, litigation budgets, and strategies to avoid future litigation.

Education and Other Experience
Ms. Price earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Arizona in 2008. She then earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2011, graduating with the Pro Bono Legal Services Award. While in law school, Ms. Price externed for the Honorable Larry A. Burns of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. She gained court experience as a certified legal intern at the San Diego Public Defender’s Office where she appeared in court almost daily and achieved favorable results for clients. Additionally, Ms. Price served as a member of the San Diego International Law Journal and as Student Bar Association Vice President. Ms. Price was extensively involved in the Moot Court program where she argued before judges of the Ninth and Second Circuits and won national and intramural awards for her brief writing and oral advocacy skills. She was inducted into the Order of the Barristers for her achievements in oral advocacy in 2011.
